All it took was paint, pebbles and a little imagination for children to create monsters at Bury St Edmunds Library.

James Powell, spokesman for Suffolk Libraries, said: “Around 20 people came along to the Monster Rocks session at Bury St Edmunds Library on Saturday and children enjoyed painting pebbles and transforming them into their own monsters to take away.

“It was an idea inspired by the library manager and generated a very colourful and enjoyable family activity.”
