A gunman and another robber armed with a truncheon and both wearing camouflage paint raided a McColl’s store in Mildenhall last night.
A police cordon remains in place after the reported armed robbery at McColl's in St Johns close at 9.55pm on Tuesday, August 10.
The two males entered the store and threatened the staff before demanding money from the till.
They then left the premises on foot with a quantity of cash.
A police spokesman said: "Members of staff were left shaken but not injured in the incident."

The first suspect is described as was wearing beige chinos, a black long-sleeved top, brogue-style brown shoes and gloves.
The second suspect is described as wearing all dark clothing, black trainers, a black puffer jacket with white zip and black gloves.
Both suspects are described as approximately 5ft 10ins in height, between 25 and 30-years-old and of skinny build.
Both were wearing a stocking over their head and face, and camouflage paint on their faces.
A sign has been placed on the shutters of the shop that reads: "Due to an unforeseen incident this store will not be open until approximately midday today.
"Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."
Andy Neal, who represents Mildenhall Queensway at West Suffolk Council, said the incident had shocked the community.
He said: "We don't expect to hear this sort of thing in Mildenhall, to be honest. I can't imagine it was someone from within the town.
"This is a quiet, sedate little town. It's not the norm. It would be years since we had an incident with a firearm.
"It's the sort of thing you would associate with an inner city.
"I think the older people are going to be a bit apprehensive about coming out now."
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour, who may have been driving in the area at the time of the incident and who has dash cam footage, or has further knowledge of the robbery that could assist should contact Bury St Edmunds CID on 101, quoting crime reference number 37/43915/21.
