Workers at a housebuilder donned their festive jumpers in support of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
Bloor Homes organised a Christmas Jumper Day at its Bury St Edmunds office in aid of the charity, with employees making a donation for the privilege of dressing up in their favourite brightly-coloured knitwear.
Staff at the developer’s regional office in Skyliner Way also held a coffee and donuts morning and breakfast bap sale, raising a total of £237.30 for EACH.
Monika Hanlon, regional sales director at Bloor Homes Eastern, said: “It was great to see so many members of staff embrace this fundraising initiative and there were certainly some very eye-catching Christmas jumpers on show.
“EACH is a wonderful charity and we are delighted to have raised this money for such a worthy cause.”
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices provides vital care and support for children, young people and their families with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
The charity must raise almost £6million in donations every year to fund its work with the children and families it cares for, both at its hospices and in their own homes.
