Major supermarkets in the UK have recalled products after it was discovered they could be contaminated with salmonella.
Trading Standards has issued the warning and the affected products should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Cranswick Country Foods, which manufactures chicken products used in sandwiches and ready meals, has issued a warning because salmonella has been found in some of the chicken used to manufacture these products.
The companies affected include Aldi, Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, Co-Op, and Amazon.
A number of pre-packaged sandwiches, salads, and ready meals may have been contaminated.
The full list can be found at www.food.gov.uk
At Aldi, products affected include the Eat and Go Chicken and Bacon Caesar Wraps and the Eat and Go Chicken and Bacon Caesar Triple Wraps.
The affected packs have a use-by-date of May 11 and 12.
Salmonella can cause illness with symptoms including fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.
