A cinema that is due to open in a former Debenhams will officially open next month.
Everyman has announced that it will begin screening films in Bury St Edmunds from February.
Part of the former Debenhams store in the arc shopping centre has been transformed into three cinema screens, made up of 228 seats, and aims to bring a 'luxurious cinema experience' to the county for the first time.
Currently, the nearest Everyman cinema is in Chelmsford, Essex.

Each screen will have state of the art technology for viewings of a variety of films and plush velvet sofas and armchairs, offering visitors a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Customers of the new Bury St Edmunds venue will benefit from an extensive food and drink menu which can all be delivered directly to their seats.
The new cinema experience will be opening at the arc shopping centre in February.
The rest of the store is being changed into Primark which is due to open in March.
In the design and access statement for the plans at the time, MWA Planning on behalf of the applicant wrote: "It will promote the vitality and viability of the town centre, by securing a leisure and entertainment use within the Primary Shopping Area.
"It will make effective use of previously developed land within Bury St Edmunds town centre consistent with its role and function.
"It will enable the introduction of a new cinema operator extending choice and convenience.
"A total of 15 full and 15 part-time jobs will be created, Everyman adopting a policy of recruiting within the local community."
