Thousands were in attendance for a celebration of classic cars in Suffolk where hundreds of vehicles were on display for the public.

Families and motoring enthusiasts were able to come together to see more than 550 classic cars at the 2023 Rotary Classic Car Show.

A record number of around 5,000 people attended the show on July 16, which was held in the parkland of Culford School, near Bury St Edmunds.

Cars on display included Triumphs, Lamborghinis and Ferraris giving visitors a glimpse into motoring from days gone by.

The event, run by volunteers and organised by the Bury Abbey Rotary Club, also raised a record amount of money for East Anglia's Children's Hospice (EACH) and other local charities.

The amount raised was around £30,000.

Peter Summers, car show team leader, said: "We're delighted to raise this much money, and that is down to the support from loyal exhibitors and high visitor numbers."
