A new dining experience has officially opened at Newmarket Racecourse in time for the summer season.

The Rose Terrace has opened at Newmarket Racecourse and offers dinner with what promises to be a stunning view.

The alfresco dining experience has opened at the July Course, the racing venue which also hosts Newmarket Nights.

The platter-based menu includes a starter of artisan bread with olives and nuts, a choice of mains including a charcuterie and cheese board, a seafood platter, and strawberry or lemon desserts.

Diners also gain access to the premier enclosure, access to the terrace, complimentary arrival snacks and half a bottle of champagne.

The ticket price includes access to the race day so, whilst it may seem expensive, those on the alfresco dining experience will have some of the best views of the races on the day.

Tickets cost about £150 per person.

As the experience is outdoor, wet weather cover is not provided and diners are recommended to bring provisions in case it should rain.
