Staff at a Bury St Edmunds nursery are celebrating after it won a prestigious award - the highest level possible in the award scheme.
Moreton Hall Prepcare Day Nursery in Mount Road was handed a Level 3 Platinum award from the Quality Counts national award scheme, run by the National Day Nurseries Association on Thursday, July 13.
The assessment for the award looked into the nursery's play and learning, health & safety and leadership & management, amongst other categories.
Feedback found the nursery, which looks after children from 6 weeks to five years, was "well managed" with "supportive staff" and "so many resources for the children".
Zoe Savage, manager at Moreton Hall Prepcare Day Nursery, said: "We consistently work to deliver the very best care and environment for the young children that we look after in this very special nursery.
"To be recognised by such a well-respected national accreditation scheme in this way is wonderful and a testament to all the hard work of the team here.
"A perfect way to showcase the quality of service we offer."
