Police are appealing for information after five young hawks were shot dead in a west Suffolk forest.
The goshawks were found in the King's Forest, between Bury St Edmunds and Thetford, on Tuesday.
Officers from Suffolk police's Rural, Wildlife and Heritage Policing team shared pictures of the birds of prey on social media.
Here’s a chance for the shooting community to protect it’s reputation & future. Do the right thing.Tell us who shot these 5 young #goshawks dumped in the Kings Forest. This is shocking and there should be no hiding place for the culprit. There’s no place for this in 2023.#233 pic.twitter.com/qovJVNPTsz
