A Night 2 Remember 2 was held at Great Whelnetham Community Centre, on Saturday, and attracted 130 people, including the mayor of St Edmundsbury Terry Clements.

There was dancing and entertainment from a host of acts including singers Sarah Probert and Kristin Kapelli, Jacqui Cann a former winner of “Stars In Their Eyes”, comic impressionist Marea Smithson with top of the bill Paul da Vinci and his four-piece band.

Special gold badges were handed out to members of the group: Richard Crouch, Nemonee Stone and Mr Clements and two lifetime achievement awards to Sheila Wormleighton and Sue Griffin.

And the event helped to raise £550 each for the My WiSH charity’s Every Heart Matters appeal and the Gatehouse charity with more still to come.
