Needham Market will hope to kick on from their last-gasp draw with Enfield Town in Bostik Premier on Saturday.

Richard Wilkins’ side were grateful to a 90th-minute penalty from Dan Morphew to rescue themselves a point at Bloomfields. Tonight they travel to Harlow Town.

Harlow were thrashed 6-0 by Kingstonian on Saturday in a display very much out of character for the Essex side who had only conceded eight goals in their first seven games up to then.

With Dartford to come at Bloomfields in a big FA Cup game on Saturday, a win for the Suffolk side would be a big boost.

A big boost is just what Lowestoft Town could do with at the moment.

Just one league win in five, the Trawlerboys have slipped into the relegation zone.

On Saturday they were well beaten at Staines and tonight Ady Gallagher’s side entertain Thurrock.

It hasn’t been the best of starts to the season for Thurrock either, who have an identical record to Lowestoft over the last five league games, with just one league win.

On Saturday they did get a point at Merstham though.

Brightlingsea never got going at Dorking on Saturday and consequently were always chasing a game they eventually lost 3-2.

However, it has been a hugely encouraging start for James Webster’s side in Bostik Premier. Tonight they entertain Wingate & Finchley, who have not been beaten in the league since losing their opening two games - a tough test indeed for Regent.

In Bostik North, Ben Chenery’s Bury Town side made it five league games unbeaten with a 2-1 win at Cheshunt on Saturday, Cemal Ramadan keeping his cool to notch a late penalty winner.

Tonight Bury have a chance to enhance their league placing, currently of fifth, with Dereham Town the visitors to Ram Meadow.

AFC Sudbury caretaker boss Danny Laws has begun his current tenure well with three straight wins, including a fine 3-2 win over previously unbeaten Heybridge Swifts on Saturday.

Sudbury travel to Soham Town Rangers tonight, Maldon & Tiptree are at Brentwood.
