Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy spoke to the assembled media at Playford Road on Monday afternoon, ahead of the Blues’ away game at Millwall on Tuesday night.

Ipswich are looking to make it three straight league wins at the start of the season, and face a Millwall side that have taken one point from their first two games, losing at Nottingham Forest and drawing at home to Bolton Wanderers.

Ahead of the game, McCarthy issued injury updates on several of his players, discussed Adam McDonnell’s return to the first-team fold and explained why he has taken AFC Sudbury’s Tyler French on trial.
