SCHOOLchildren from west Suffolk, who will be among those forming a guard of honour to welcome athletes from all over the world to the Olympic Stadium later this month, have been training with the Rwandan team.
Representatives of Acton Primary, near Sudbury, who have chosen to fly the flag for the Rwandans at the event, visited West Suffolk Athletics Track on Tuesday, where they took part in a relay with Rwandan marathon champion Jean Pierre Mvuyekure and his team-mate Robert Kajuga.
They were also treated to expert judo tuition when they joined Rwandan Olympic hopeful Yannick Uwase Sekamana and British coach Dave Oates in the gym.
