Fire crews attended flooding at a bungalow in Shotley

Two fire engines and a turntable ladder from Bury St Edmunds and a fire engine from Elsmwell attended Nether Street in Rougham after they were alerted at 5.46pm.

On arrival crews found that the thatch was not involved in the fire.

It was brought under control at 6.33pm and crews were back at their station by 7.43pm.
