THE JURY in the trial of a man accused of a double shooting at a Suffolk caravan site has retired to consider its verdicts.
Before Ipswich Crown Court is Christopher Line, 29 who has denied murdering 20-year-old Shane Hill and 29-year-old David Castell, both of Southend, at Willow Park, Beck Row, Mildenhall on March 15 last year.
It has been alleged that Line lay in wait for the two men and shot them after they set light to a caravan and a toilet block on a site at Willow Park occupied by Line and his employer Sam Vinden.
Line claimed he left the site after hearing gunshots and had not seen Mr Hill and Mr Castell on the night in question,
The jury retired to consider its verdicts yesterday (Tues) and will return to court today to continue its deliberations.
