A BOX of stories and memories of The Queen’s accession to the throne 60 years ago is to be created.
Age UK Suffolk is inviting anyone with memories of 1952 to write them down and share them at Bury St Edmunds Library on June 6.
The charity is looking for stories, information and anecdotes about Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation.
Ideas suggested by Age UK include memories of marriage, first house purchases, first loves or special songs.
Once completed, the memory box will be left at the library, in Sergeants Walk, for others to enjoy.
The event starts at 11am.
