Supporters and beneficiaries of a Suffolk charity gathered for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to mark 18 months since its launch.
During that time, GeeWizz has collected almost £150,000 in aid of local families and individuals who are affected by illness or disability.
Founder Gina Long MBE said the event held at Kesgrave Hall on Sunday was a chance to thank everyone who had helped the charity take off.
She added: “Without the generous support our fundraisers and donors, we simply would not be able to make a difference to the lives of so many families in Suffolk.
“The Mad Hatter Tea Party gave an ideal opportunity to greet both our supporters and the families GeeWizz have supported – as part of the charity promoting transparent fundraising in every way possible.”
The event, which was backed by the Bury Free Press, Coastline Graphics and Milsom Hotels and Restaurants, included fun and games for all the family and an afternoon tea around the Mad Hatter’s theme.
