A car ended up in a ditch following a collision with a van in a west Suffolk village.

The crash involving a Vauxhall Astra car and a Ford Transit van happened on the A143 in Wortham around 10.45am.

Three crews from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attended and helped remove the car from the ditch.

The male driver is understood to have made his way out of the car without assistance from firefighters.
