Man to appear in court for robbery

A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with robbery after a man suffered head and hand injuries at a nature reserve in Bury St Edmunds.

Sam Delo, of Ipswich Street in Bury, has been detained in police custody to appear before the town’s magistrates’ court tomorrow morning.

He has been charged in relation to an incident at a nature reserve near Oakes Close in Bury on Tuesday afternoon.

The victim, who lives in Oakes Close, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with his injuries and has since been released.
