MORE than 250 people have tonight gathered in the grounds of one of the nation’s top brewers to raise money for a Suffolk charity addicition charity.
People from in and around Bury St Edmunds were treated to a three course meal under canvas along with some of the the best brews in Suffolk hoping to top last year’d fundraising total of £21,000.
The annual Greene King Fundraising Ball has become a key fixture in the town’s civic calendar.
In the first year, the event raised £14,000 for Focus 12.
Now in its third year, organisers are hoping this year’s ball will be a record-breaker.
