A derelict pub in a Suffolk town will go under the hammer once again next month - for £250,000 less than it was previously listed for.
The Scarlett Pimpernell in Strasbourg Square, Haverhill failed to sell at auction in May, having been listed for £900,000.
It is now set to be auctioned off once more with Auction House with a guide price of £650,000.
Planning permission to build 17 flats and two retail units on the site of the vacant pub, which was also known as The Vixen, had previously been granted.
After it failed to sell in May, councillor Pat Hanlon said: "This is all rather sad for the people that live in Strasbourg Square and on the Chalkstone Estate, seeing the once lovely facility The Vixen/Scarlett Pimpernell go to ruin, especially after the owners put in planning permission for flats and shops."
