HUGE dragon heads made by art students from recycled materials are on display at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds as Chinese New Year gets under way.
The exhibition at Leonardo House on the Bury campus reveals work by the General Art and Design students on the theme of the Year of the Dragon, which has just started.
Lecturer Sue Winslett said: “The students have produced sculptures and 2D work.
“They have also made Chinese fashion garments, lanterns and ceramics.
“I was extremely impressed with the quality of work, involvement and enthusiasm shown by all of them.” Chinese New Year began on Monday, with wide-spread celebrations.
